About

I graduated college in 2014 without a clear career path, but with a deep interest in people—their inner lives, motivations, and struggles. That curiosity eventually led me to medicine, and I earned my MD from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2021

I completed my adult psychiatry residency at Westchester Medical Center, where I also participated in a three-year weekly seminar in psychoanalysis. That experience continues to shape how I think about mental health—deeply, dimensionally, and always in the context of each person’s unique story. I’m now completing a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Zucker Hillside Hospital, drawn by both the power of early intervention and the rich complexity of human development.

My approach to psychiatry is thoughtful and collaborative. I’m careful with medications, always weighing potential benefits and downsides. I believe the best care comes from working together—through psychotherapy, lifestyle changes, and, when appropriate, medication—to support meaningful and lasting change.

Psychiatry has long felt like the right fit for me. It brings together my passion for understanding the human mind and the influence of my mother, who is a psychotherapist and has been a steady source of inspiration throughout my journey. When not practicing psychiatry, I enjoy spending time with my family, sports, music and reading—especially anything that sheds light on how people think, feel, and grow.
